April 2009 Entries
Due to some complicated reasons I have made a decision to change my podcast name from “MS Cloud Guy” to ConnectedShow Podcast! This means a new URL (yep you guessed it): http://www.connectedShow.com
Beyond the name change nothing else will be modified, this podcast will continue to cover the Microsoft Cloud Platform, so tune in!
Here are some rules for creating an Access Database for your business: Make sure that you do this without telling IT department or anyone really technical Make sure that this side project becomes over time a very important, if not critical part of your business or department Don’t worry about backups, computers never break down anyway If your reading this 4th bullet point but yet still don’t agree with the first one I'm here to remind you that if you tell IT about it...
Today I finally had a chance to update all three audio files for the existing episodes of the MS Cloud Guy Podcast, here are the changes:
Episode 1: Added noise reduction and new introduction. The noise reduction removes all the background noise but the recording is still not 100% perfect, time to move on though
Episode 2: Added new introduction
Episode 3: Fixed a long delay between introduction and podcast
Additional notes:
I have also re-encoded all three episodes to 192bit MP3’s instead of 128bit, I hope this...
I am very happy to announce that going forward my friend and colleague Peter Laudati (Developer Platform Evangelist @ Microsoft) will be doing all of the Introductions to our Podcast episodes. Peter brings with him a great talent for professional voice recordings which will greatly improve the quality of the introductions. (You can already hear him in Episode 3!)
In the coming weeks and months many additional improvements and changes will come to the Microsoft Cloud Guy Podcast as we continue to strive on making it a professional looking, sounding and streaming source of content on the Azure Services Platform.
Thank...
Guest: Peter Laudati, Microsoft Corporation
