I wish to announce the creation of a new blog called “MS Cloud Guy” over on MSDN Blogs. The main purpose of this new MSDN Blog will be to capture/announce all “Cloud” specific content. This will include technology such as:
- Windows Azure
- Live Services
- Live Framework (Also known as Live Fx)
- Live Mesh and its Mesh Services (part of Live Fx)
- Microsoft SQL Services
- Silverlight 2 and eventually 3
Eventually I also hope to announce Podcasts episodes in a series I am trying to develop titled “MS Cloud Guy Podcast”. I also do own the domain www.mscloudguy.com but that is still being developed into a true portal for my efforts.
But Why?
Some people will hate me for doing this, a few really do think its a bad idea to “split” ones identity, and who knows maybe they are right. But my gut feeling is telling me to create a specific place to capture all my Cloud related content if I really do wish to make it a succesful and well known focus.
What About This Blog?
Don’t worry, if you follow this blog you wont miss anything. The content will live here! I simply hope to gain traffic and exposure through MSDN in an area where I feel I want to contribute the most.
